Established in 2022, Genesis Worn Ltd is a narrative-driven clothing brand based in Southampton UK.
A message from the founder, Joseph:
"Genesis Worn began as a quiet rebellion during the COVID-19 lockdown, not against the world but against disconnection. With no formal fashion background, I taught myself screen printing through trial and error, building makeshift setups in my room and printing late into the night. Each mistake taught patience, discipline, and soul.
What started as an experiment became a visual language: built on struggle, exploration, and honesty. From the first tee to the first collection, everything was printed, packed, and shipped by hand. That DIY spirit still drives the brand.
This didn’t begin as a business, but as a decision: to rebuild with soul, to begin again, to be born.
Our ethos
Our ethos is shaped by timeless values, rooted in the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22), that guide how we create, connect, and exist as a brand.
- Love - We build with intention and care, rooted in respect for culture, craft, and community.
- Joy – We find beauty in process, in evolution, in the act of creating from around us.
- Peace – We move with calm defiance, choosing substance over noise.
- Patience – We embrace slowness, mastery, and the long arc of becoming.
- Kindness – We honour the human stories and we move with respect. Hate will never win.
- Goodness – We resist exploitation, choosing ethical choices where possible in how we source, create, and operate.
- Faithfulness – We stay true to the vision, not trends. Our loyalty is to the story.
- Gentleness - We create space for vulnerability, reflection, and spiritual growth within the current culture that glorifies hardness.
- Self-Control - We move with intention, not impulse. We trust in God's timing, process and in the humble strength of restraint. In our work and our growth, we choose what is lasting over what is loud.

We believe it’s not the cards we’re dealt that define us, but the story we choose to narrate. Through garments, we portray moments of resilience, rebirth, and becoming.
Some pieces echo forgotten geneses; others carry the pulse of something new. Whether through our mainline Genesis Worn or our sustainability project Rebirth by Genesis, each release is a chapter, guided by the living philosophy we call To be born.
To Be Born is not a moment. It’s a decision. It is not the cards you are dealt that define you, but rather the story you choose to narrate.
It is the slow and sacred will to reshape what remains and to become the truest version of yourself.
